I have been meeting people from various professions in IT all saying bad about MS Windows, but when i get a chance to look at their system i found the honourable MS windows installed on the system……
its a fact that UNIX based servers are pretty better then windows server but on the general public level if i am a designer or web developer or desktop programmer or i am game phreak or i am movies addicted or i am a writer then i have no issues or complaints with MS windows because my package is running pretty well and giving me no headaches at all….so why should i change my OS to some new one which i dont know any thing about yet so first i have to learn that and that have to switch from my current OS..
but unix based OS are ought to be good when you need a good security, server handling, networking issues and fast operations …personally i have never used such systems but in office and with ubuntu friends i did get a chance to test it and it feels pretty much friendly in the first view but their are complexities which only pro can define but comparing on the base level the two operating system i will go for MS windows ….but do keep a unix server

]]> http://ijazktk.wordpress.com/2009/12/16/why-microsoft-windows-is-ok-for-lot-of-us/feed/ 0 ijazktk http://ijazktk.wordpress.com/2009/12/14/hello-world/ http://ijazktk.wordpress.com/2009/12/14/hello-world/#comments Mon, 14 Dec 2009 16:03:17 +0000 ijazktk ]]> well publishing my first paper was definately a big achievement for me but some time it sucks being young….when my first paper was accepted i went to the chairman(….) dont click on dote to get his name….i happily said sir i got my paper published in my 6th semester…he glanced at the paper  and said your name is co-author so no money for registration(neither it was appreciated) and truly i wasnt aware of the co-author unless i got that dose…so if anyone outthere is writing paper reading this article then always write your name first…so i paid my 6000 and went to the conference..when my name was called i went to the stage and started and as i said i am in 6th semester…all stared..umh…i was about to faint all the big big Drs throwing questions like anything and i defending one by one……so it went well but things got worse after i published my second paper and luckily i got it published in USA and also my name was at the first place….again on the doorstep of chairman(…) office….i was having the IEEE form went there…sir i have my name in first place and this has to be funded now…he glanced and said “i dont know what is IEEE” and that was the best joke i ever heard when angry….so i asked the higher authorities and all reject saying “you are _____ underage” and i was like what wrong if i can do somehting in underage…but flat NO from every where…..in the last the governor of NWFP gave me funded as he looked into the matter…………….but still its not over yet…..third paper i got my name at first place got it published but never went to the chairman paid straight away and presented……..i thought its over by writing this article now and just 4 days back i topped one of the Public service commission test (i was in top 5) out of some 200 candidate i was very happy for that and waiting for interviww and when i got the letter it was written there “we regret to invite your for the interview for the reason of: you are 4 years 8 months and 29 days underage” and i said aggghhh its my age or my luck….any way keep looking for new tech and new article…
